Niseko Annupuri summit currently experiences light drizzle with a temperature of 3.8℃, feeling like 1.8℃. The base of the ski area also sees light drizzle at 9.8℃. Light drizzle to light rain is expected throughout the day. Summit temperatures will hover around 5℃, but high humidity and precipitation will make it feel colder.

There is no snow cover. The ground will remain wet to muddy all day. Especially on routes centered on the northwest facing slopes, rainwater runoff can make surfaces slippery. Caution is advised against slips on exposed rocky sections. Essential gear includes waterproof breathable outer layers. For base layers, fast-drying materials are recommended, and for mid-layers, fleece that retains warmth even when wet. Crampons or microspikes are not necessary.

Hypothermia risk is present. Although temperatures are above freezing, getting wet from drizzle and high humidity can rapidly lower your body temperature. This is particularly true on ridge access routes, where even light winds can make you feel colder when wet. Stay hydrated and change out of wet clothing promptly during your activity. Visibility is currently 3.3km, but it may further deteriorate in the mist, so be prepared for reduced visibility.

Temperatures will drop to 1.6℃ overnight, but continued precipitation means freezing is unlikely. However, winds will shift to the south, with gusts reaching 9.3m/s, making nighttime travel inadvisable.
